AAUW’s Dissertation Fellowship is part of the American Fellowships program, which provides fellowships for eight consecutive weeks to women pursuing full-time study to complete dissertations, conducting postdoctoral research full time or preparing research for publication. The purpose of the Dissertation Fellowship is to offset a scholar’s living expenses while she completes her dissertation.An AAUW Selected Professions Fellow is expected to pursue a full-time course of study during the fellowship year July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021. No partial fellowships are awarded. Fellowships may not be deferred.
